Math club
Listen up! It's almost our anniversary! That's right! It has almost been 1 month since the first Math Club meeting! New members are always welcome ... otherwise that would be cruel and unusual punishment to deny this amount of fun to any student.
A few important dates to remember:
October 15 is the last day for students to sign up0 for the Math Open competition. See Ms. Zen in room 232 before October 15.
Also this Tuesday we will begin the Math Magic Challenge. It's a Math challenge for all students and staff to participate in. Stay tuned for details. It will be a question that everyone can try. Why Math Magic you say? Because math is magically FUN. You know that feeling you get that someone is in the room with you, taht shiver up ypur spine? You know that butterfly you feel in your stomach when you write a fun Math test? That's not nerve. That's math fun giving you a Hug.
Speaking of Math fun, the Math Club will be opening a "Math Help Room" open to all grade 9 to 11 every Thursday at lunch in room 232. Stop by room 232 for details!

Seussical The musical
The call back audition for "Birds" will take place this Thursday after school in the auditorium. If you have yet t pick up your music see MR.Osachoff as soon as possible.
The call back auditions for the "Wickershams" and all the other characters will be Friday after school in the auditorium.
Mr. O will be available to rehearse during the lunch hours this week as well as today after school in the auditorium, bring your music and a pencil!

What did the zero say to the eight?Nice belt. Do you hear that? That is the sound of number and mathematical laughter you will find yourself in the math club. Every Wednesday at lunch in room 232. We have 55 students in the math club but we want more! It's where math meets fun and becomes math fun. That's right math fun. It's a noun, verb and adjective. Try it.
