Student awards assembly
Invitations for students receiving awards at the awards assembly on Friday, May 30 have been given to homeroom teachers for distribution. Homeroom teachers are asked to return any not picked up to Mrs Piercey on Thursday, May 29. Please hole on to them and try to deliver them until this time.
Students with no period 1 class can pick theirs up from Mr Jokhu in the main office.
STUDENTS: Please present this invitation for seating on the day of the assembly.
Breakfast program a success
Thanks to all the student volunteers who helped distribute the food this morning and yesterday, and to all who came to eat! We look forward to continuing this program in the fall. Keep listening to the announcements for more info.
Last date to accept university offers
To all students who have applied to an Ontario university:
The last date to respond to an offer of admission is May 28. Do not wait until that date to try to respond online as it will be very busy and your response may not get through on time.
Math contests scores
Students who wrote math contests this year can check their scores with Ms "Zen" in Rm 232 at any time or check the math bulletin board at the end of the 200 hallway for their ranking.

ECI Breakfast Program
On Thursday and Friday of this week, the ECI Breakfast Program will be hosting a pilot breakfast program in the Career Centre at 8:45am. If you find it difficult to manage getting breakfast in the mornings, you are welcome to join us. This service is offered to you courtesy of many volunteers and various community organizations. Entrepreneurship cleaning day
The awareness group from Ms. Barker's Entrepreneurship class will be holding a cleaning day on May 22. Any students who want to help us make a cleaner and greener community can come out and help. It will be after school on Thursday for one hour. We will provide you with bags and gloves. Groups that collect the most bags of garbage will get a prize. We are trying to raise awareness toward the David Suzuki Foundation.. All donations are welcome.
Math EQAO test
The Math EQAO test is scheduled for Thursday, June 5th. Students of ESL and Communications will be writing in the cafeteria. Letters have been sent out and lists for the test are in the Communications room, Rm 119.

Valedictorian voting
Valedictorian voting will take place in first period on Wednesday, May 21. Sorry for the last minute change.
Driver's education classes
Driver's ed classes will be offered from July 5 to July 26 on Saturdays only, from 9:00-4:00 at the Etobicoke Civic Centre. The course fees are $550.00 and you register online at the TDSB's Driver Education Program website.

Please return overdue books
There are currently 79 overdue library books. That is an 11% improvement since yesterday. Let's try to beat that tomorrow. Return and renew!
Today, home form teachers have received notices for overdue books from the library. If you need to keep a book for school work, please come and renew it so we know that you are aware of the May 23 deadline for all returns.
